Rooted in the Himalayan yogic tradition, Yogi Lalit Ji began his spiritual journey in a Brahmin yogic family. Guided from an early age by his grandfather and first Guru, Sri Swami Bhola Dutt, he developed a deep connection with yoga, discipline and spiritual learning.
At just five years old, he moved to Rishikesh to pursue traditional yogic studies. His education included Sanskrit scriptures, the Vedas, and diverse yoga disciplines such as Hatha Yoga, Raja Yoga, Bhakti Yoga, Kundalini Yoga and Kriya Yoga, alongside pranayama, meditation and Ayurveda. By the age of 20, he had completed years of ashram training and earned a Master's-level Yoga Acharya qualification in yoga science.
His journey also involved learning from experienced yogis, saints and acharyas, serving his ashram through seva, and sharing yoga with communities. These experiences shaped his approach to teaching, with an emphasis on mindful living, personal growth and holistic well-being.
In 2015, Yogi Lalit Ji moved to Bangkok after being invited to serve as CEO of Yoga School Thailand. Since then, he has continued to support community education and well-being through yoga classes, workshops, retreats and training programmes. His teaching draws on traditional yoga practices, breathing techniques and meditation to help students develop greater balance in body and mind.
Dedicated to sharing the wisdom of yoga with people around the world, Yogi Lalit Ji continues his mission of encouraging health, happiness and spiritual growth through practice and service.
